In order to intensify the management on health professionals in the fields of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), integrated medicine of TCM and western medicine, ethnic medicine, material medica and nursing and to safeguard their legitimate rights, the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine of the People’s Republic of China (SATCM, P.R. China) issued an Interim Measure for qualification Accreditation of TCM Professionals Working in the foreign countries (No 37 document in 2007 delivered by national authority of TCM ). Accreditation Center of TCM Physician under SATCM will be responsible for the implementation of the document.
The measure is relevant to the qualification accreditation for TCM physicians (assistant and higher level physicians), physicians of intergraded TCM and western medicine (assistant and higher level physicians), physicians of ethnic medicines (assistant and higher level physicians) TCM pharmacists (technician and higher level) and other TCM professionals and technicians who are working abroad.
The professionals in the field of TCM who wish to apply for the qualification accreditation shall visit the website （http://www.tcmtest.org.cn）, download and fill in the application form and submit the requested documents and materials. The qualified professionals will receive the relevant qualification accreditation certificate after the accreditation is processed by the Center, in the meantime, the Center will provide consultation service on the subject to the international health organizations.
